Overview
A challenging trek that covers remote Ladakh and Zanskar areas with steep ascents and winding descents across high passes and deep gorges lined with multi-hued rocks and villages, dotted with white mud-brick buildings and Buddhist monuments. In short, it provides abundant spectacular experience, both in raw nature and deep culture.

Day 1 - Early morning board the flight to Leh. Upon arrival in Leh transfer to hotel which is about 15 minutes and check into the hotel. Rest of the day free to acclimatize for the trek. In the early evening an orientation walks through the local market. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 2 - Full day sightseeing visiting Thiksey, Matho & Hemis monasteries. Overnight stay in Hotel

Day 3 - This morning after breakfast drive to Chilling (or an optional rafting trip into Zanskar River 2 ½ hrs from Chilling to Nimoo) we shall stop here for lunch at Nimoo confluence before drive back to Chilling for overnight stay in camp. (65 Kms / transfer 2 ½ hrs)

Day 4 - Today morning after breakfast start trek all the way to the base of Dundunchen La. On the way trek passes through many Stupas and Mani Walls later follow the river all through the trek. Overnight stay in Camp. (Walking 3-4 hrs)

Day 5 - This morning trail will take you to a steep climb for about 3 to 4 hours to the top of Dundunchen La (4849m). Enjoy the panoramic views from top before descend to Lanak and continue trek further to. Sumda Chenmo. Overnight stay in Camp. (Walking 5-6 hrs)

Day 6 - Today the trek will take you to the main valley towards few shepherd huts at Sumdo Phu and continue walk on the stream bed for another hour to reach the next campsite. Overnight stay in Camp. (Walking 4-5 hrs)

Day 7 - Today after breakfast the trail take takes us over Konke La Pass (4900 m). Enjoys the views of Zanskar peaks and Stok Range from the pass and later descend through on the other side of the pass until you reach at Camp site for overnight stay. (Walking 4-5 hrs)

Day 8 - Today after breakfast the trek descends to the village of Hinju then further trek down to Phenjila and continues further to Sumdo. Follow the river to Hanupatta till you reach to camp site near the river a little beyond the village. Overnight stay in Camp. ( Walking 6-7 hrs)

Day 9 - Today the trek will go gradually up for 45 minutes to a tiny settlement of two houses further and further continue climbing gradually past shepherds' huts to our camp at the base of Sniugutse La. Overnight stay in Camp. (Walking 4-5 hrs)

Day 10 - Today’s gradual climb will take you to Sniugutse La at 5100m you may have chance to see some marmots and ibexes on way to Sniugutse La Trek descend steeply before ascending for an hour to the shepherd’s huts near to a river. Later the trek ascends again to the camp at the base of the pass on the other side. Overnight stay in Camp. (Walking 6-7 hrs)

Day 11 - Today after breakfast the trail climbs steeply to the top of the unnamed pass (5390m) and descend to the camp. An easy descent leads to a lovely spot near a spring camp where we set up camp. Overnight stay in Camp. ( Walking 4-5 hrs)

Day 12 - Today hike to the High Camp (5520m) where climbers stay and camp on their attempt to ascend to Tsomothang peak (6030 m). While exploring the High Camp see the glacier and K2 in a distance. Before return to Spring Camp. (Full day exploration to High camp)

Day 13 - Today the trek follows the river to Dumbur and continue walk to Kanji. On way there is chance to see some wild life including Ibexes and marmots. Overnight stay in camp. (Walking 5-6 hrs)

Day 14 - Today after breakfast trek passes through cultivated fields which follow on the right bank of the Kong River that is a must to wade across several times to reach a narrow valley past shepherds' huts before taking a small trail leading to the Kanji la base camp.. Overnight stay in Camp. (Walking 5-6 hrs)

Day 15 - This morning after breakfast trail goes through a steep rough terrain on loose rocks to the top of Kanji la (5250m). Enjoy some wonderful views from the top including the Nun and Kun Peaks and colourful prayer flags fluttering on the top of the pass. Overnight stay in Camp. (Walking 7-8 hrs)

Day 16 - This morning the trek goes through the meadows and follows a stream to reach the road head. Visit Rangdum Gompa and descend towards the road and continue walk to the camp site at Tashitongde. Trek terminates at this point (Road head Point) and Overnight stay in Camp. (Waling 4-5 hrs)

Day 17 - Drive to Kargil along the Suru Valley. View Nun and Kun peaks from the top of Parkachik la. Overnight in Kargil. Overnight stay in Hotel. (130 kms / 5 hrs)

Day 18 - Drive to Srinagar via Drass (the passport-check point) and continue drive over Zojila pass (3528m) and Observe dramatic change in landscape via passing through Sonamarg. Continue drive to Srinagar and Check in traditional Houseboat for overnight stay. Evening optional Shakara ride experience in Dal lake

Day 19 - Srinagar sight-seeing programme visiting Mughal Gardens, Shankaracharya Temple. Evening free time to relax in House boat or explore Market..

Day 20 - Early morning transfer to Srinagar airport to board flight for Delhi. However flight schedule depends. Delhi arrival and check in to hotel for day use room for fresh up before transfer you to International airport to board flight for respective destinations.
