Dr. Mandeep Atray Sharma

Veterinarian

Dr. Mandeep Atray Sharma’s immersion into the field of veterinary medicine started in 2003 at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in India. Through dedication, passion and resilience, Dr. Sharma graduated as a Veterinary Doctor in 2008. Driven by a profound love for animals and a commitment to their well-being, Dr. Sharma pursued postgraduate education and earned a Master’s degree in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology at GADVASU in 2010. Dr. Sharma’s relentless pursuit of knowledge and excellence resulted in significant research efforts, including a publication in the prestigious Canadian Veterinary Journal.

Dr. Sharma delved into the intricacies of animal care and welfare by working at various veterinary practices in India. Transitioning to academia, Dr. Sharma served the role of Senior Research Fellow at GADVASU followed by her appointment as an Assistant Professor at Khalsa College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences.

Dr. Sharma pursued Canadian Veterinary Licensing in 2015, marking a career milestone. Dr. Sharma has worked as an Associate Veterinarian since then at various veterinary practices across BC. Dr. Sharma has completed multiple professional trainings since then, which include Core Surgery Procedures for Small Animal General Practitioner, Oral Surgery & Radiology Program, Ophthalmic Examination Techniques and Ophthalmic Surgery for the GP, Small Animal Abdominal Surgery to name a few.

This multifaceted expertise, coupled with unwavering dedication, positions Dr Sharma as a trailblazer towards excellence in veterinary care.
