Terms & Conditions
Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before using our services. These policies explain our appointment procedures, payment requirements, prescription guidelines, and other important information to help ensure the best possible care for your pet.
1. Appointment & Arrival
Our standard appointments are 30–45 minutes long unless otherwise advised at the time of booking. Please allow sufficient time in your schedule for your visit.
For the safety of all pets, clients, and staff:
- All dogs must arrive on a leash.
- All cats must arrive in an appropriate carrier.
2. Late Arrival
Late arrivals may affect other scheduled appointments and delay veterinary services.
- Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be considered a no-show.
- Your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
- If you expect to arrive late, please contact the clinic as soon as possible.
3. Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling
If your plans change or your pet no longer requires the appointment, please notify our clinic as early as possible.
- Regular appointments require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

We understand that unexpected situations can occur. Please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
5. Emergency Care
As our clinic primarily operates by appointment, emergency cases can only be accepted when scheduling permits during regular operating hours.
Whenever possible, we offer same-day drop-off appointments. Your pet may remain at the clinic for several hours while our veterinarians provide care between scheduled appointments.
If we are unable to safely accommodate your pet, you may be referred to a dedicated emergency veterinary hospital.
6. Payment Policy
Full payment is required at the time veterinary services are provided unless otherwise agreed by the clinic.
7. Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR)
An active Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship must exist before we can provide prescription medications, prescription diets, or medical recommendations for your pet.
This relationship is generally maintained through annual health examinations performed by one of our veterinarians.
8. Prescription Refill Requests
Prescription refill requests can be submitted through our website, by email, or by telephone.
Please have your previous prescription available so we can verify the medication name, concentration, quantity, and directions for use.
- Prescription refills require a minimum of 48 hours.
- Compounded prescription requests require up to 5 business days.
Special-order medications must be paid in full before processing. Medications not collected within two weeks may be returned to stock and a restocking fee may apply.
9. Pricing & Fees
Our pricing follows the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Fee Guide to ensure fair, transparent, and consistent pricing.
We are committed to providing high-quality veterinary care with clear pricing and no hidden fees.
